DeepSeek just dropped Harness, its first agent product. At first glance, it looks like another Codex clone—a local agent workbench with sidebars, sessions, and model pickers. But dig a little deeper, and you'll find something that could genuinely change how you handle repetitive SEO chores.

For local SEO, the grind is real: writing location pages, updating service descriptions, responding to reviews, tweaking meta tags. Most of us rely on a mix of manual work, scripts, and whatever AI tool is trendy. Harness offers a different angle—it's less about a single assistant and more about building your own assistant, piece by piece.

What Harness Actually Does
